Serena Williams’ Daughter Olympia Puts Her Dad To Work While Showing Just How Much She Takes After Her Mom

Olympia Ohanian seems to be following in mom Serena Williams’ footsteps. Or — perhaps more aptly — her footwork.

Over the weekend, the 6-year-old hit the tennis court with her parents. And while fans are assuming her mom acted as her coach (who better than a 23-time Grand Slam champion?!), her dad was given a slightly less glamorous role.

“Papa is my ballboy,” read the caption on a photo of a sweaty Olympia practicing her backhand.

“🙋🏻‍♂️,” dad Alexis Ohanian commented.

Others were quick to jump in the comments too saying things like, “DNA 👸🏽🎾,” “And so it begins… 😍,” “Being a dad is Priceless ❤️,” and “look at that stance already #gotthepower.”

Williams told People that she and Olympia — and presumably their ballboy — started hitting the court at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Honestly, we started because it’s a socially safe sport, and when COVID happened, it was like, ‘We’re just in the house with a 3-year-old, what do we do?’”
