Today I wanted to talk about a workout regime I started that’s really new on the internet called Ballet Beautiful. Many celebrities and models have used it including Taylor Swift, Lily Aldridge, Natalie Portman and Miranda Kerr. I was googling it because it looked really unique and up my alley. I really like yoga, Pilates, etc. and this seemed similar. So about the workout. When you YouTube or Google it the moves are going to look SO EASY. I honestly googled it and was like this is such a waste of time, haha. The movements look so small it’s like how can that do anything but I still was interested because all reviews raved about it and I loved the results people seemed to be getting. Plus, the concept of it was so fun!
I went to there site and the founder, Mary Helen Bowers, is so gorgeous and seems so lovely. The concept of the workout is to form long lean muscles by using concepts from ballet. I saw that they have a streaming custom workout service so I looked more into it. I first wanted to find out if you could cancel at any time which you can. This was a bonus for me because I wouldn’t have signed up if I knew I was going to be commited to something I wasn’t sure I was ven going to like. Then I saw they have a special where the first month is $9.99 so I FOR SURE decided to try it out!
Once you sign up they ask you a series of questions. They ask what your goal is (arms, legs, abs, fat loss, full body) and how much time you can spend a week including how much they recommend. I chose fat loss and the recommended amount of time.
That day I tried my first workout which was an arm based workout. There was so weights or an optional 1lb weight and for someone who seems so many lifting fitness people online I thought it was going to be a joke. Guys, it was SO hard. Like I have no idea how this works. It was like I was barely moving but it was burning so much.
When I went on to the standing series it was the same thing. It wasn’t this high intensity jumping around movements. It was small movements but I was SWEATING a lot. I repeat I have no idea how this works haha but it’s definitely working.
-I lovee how it focuses on lengthening as well. It depends on what look you are going for though as with any workout.
-Time Flies.. They break it up into smaller workouts verses one large one which makes it easier for me to complete and fit it. I am busy and gets bored easy which is perfect for me.

-It is one of the more expensive streaming services at $39.99 a month after the first month.
-At times it may be boring if you are used to super high intensity workouts. I don’t really find them boring though because they are so broken up.
