I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s workout:). I think I am going to the gym in a little bit to repeat it! Anyway, today I want to share the number one food I include in my diet to fight acne, where to buy it, what brands and what to look for and meal ideas. I think that should cover it;).
The food is….Sauerkraut. So I know this sounds SOOO gross, but its helped my skin so much. We all know sauerkraut is rich in probiotics but I honestly don’t know why it works so much better than other probiotics but it does. I am definitely not the only one to notice this. I highly recommend looking for a brand that is RAW. It is super important the enzymes are live and there aren’t other nasty ingredients in it. Some brands I like are Bubbies, Sonoma Brinery, Raw Rejuvenation and Farmhouse Cultures. You can purchase these at health foods stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts.
I promise the taste grows on you. I HATED it when I first started eating and now I honestly totally crave it. I know people say that a lot but it’s true, haha. Some ways to use that cover the taste are listed below:
- In a vegetable and protein scramble with spices.
- With mashed avocado and optional olive oil as a dip.
