Today I want to talk about a cool product I found. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and have to be very careful with what I eat and put on my skin. So a couple months ago I was having a lot of trouble with my skin so I kept trying new products, researching new things, and getting more and more frustrated. So for a while I stopped using anything then I found out about hydrosols.
Hydrosols, also called floral waters, are like essential oils but less diluted. You can also find more information here if it interests you.
The ones I use are at this etsy shop: link here. It’s WAY cheaper than in stores and so many more options. It is $7.50 for 4oz at the etsy shop I linked but you can also get them at Whole Foods. However, at Whole Foods they are $25(ish), but still worth it.
I started using just hydrosols and witch hazel/rose water and this REALLY helped my skin. I wanted to share this in case you guys have struggle with sensitive skin and/or skin care interests you.
I tried lavender, cucumber, and hibiscus. I didn’t care for the lavender, but I loved cucumber and hibiscus. The cucumber has been great for tired eyes, and the hibiscus has been great for acne. I can’t wait to try the others!
Have you tried hydrosols? What do you like on your skin?
